This is one of the most exciting fabrics that we have found, it is a linen texture and weight fabric but it is made from 100% recycled yarns produced from old clothing and other textiles, which means this fabric is more enviromentally friendly than regular produced fribres. Due to the fact that it is produced from mixed recycled textiles the composition can vary. The composition of this terracotta  fabric is Linen 25%, Cotton 5%, Viscose 40% and polyester 30%. Oeko-tex certified.

Treat as a linen fabric, so please wash before cutting out, do not tumble. The drape and opacity means that you could make trousers, skirts, tops , dresses and jackets. If you prefer to line your dresses then Bremsilk lining would work perfectly, interfacing would be G785, if you are making jackets and require a heavier interfacing then use G770.

Sew with a universal needle 70/10 stitch length 2.5mm. Various seams can be used and topstitching can look beautiful. Tip...press with a steam iron on the highest setting  and use a silk cloth spritzing with water, press on the right side, if you overlock the edges then use a pice of paper betweeen the seam and the fabric to prevent indentation of the stitches on the right side of the fabric.
